In order to apply, you must first upload your CV or proof of student status before adding your desired membership to the cart. If IPSON does not receive this documentation, your order will be cancelled and your fee returned.
After uploading the required information, click ‘submit.’ You may then add your desired membership to the cart and check out as normal.

Once your application and payment has been received an email will be sent to the email address provided confirming your application has been received and processed.
Within this email you will receive your unique IPSON membership number.
Please note that membership is not automatically renewed as IPSON does not store/retain any member financial information.
Membership with IPSON runs from January to December you will receive a reminder of renewal email 2 months in advance.
Should IPSON not receive renewal payment within 2 months of renewal date (1 st March of the following year) your membership will lapse. Should you wish to renew your membership with IPSON you will be required to reapply for membership.
No person may continue as a Student Member for more than one year after they have ceased to be a bona fide student pursuing a related course of study

This membership includes professionals who hold a recognised formal qualification in a health and social care profession, medicine or nursing, or other individuals with professional equivalence who are, or have been, actively engaged in clinical work, research and/or education of a psychosocial nature with people with cancer, cancer survivors, and their caregivers/loved ones.

Associate Members are distinct from Professional Members in that they may be retired, on-leave, or not resident in Ireland.
Associate members do not have the right to vote and are not eligible for election.
This membership includes students in full-time education, who are pursuing a related course of study.
